Shaloma “LoW” Wagstaffe is the Founder of Women of Color in Cannabis, WOCC, pronounced WOKE! Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Shaloma would enter the Cannabis industry through her Cannabis Event Planning company, HighsNLo.Ws. With standard events such as PuffNPaint and New Year’s High etc., LoW entered the industry seeking to diversify the NY consumption event space with affordable and inclusive events.
As an Environmental Planner and program manager by trade, Shaloma has always been interested in the environment, health, planning, and organizing. As an avid Cannabis consumer, Shaloma would blend her interests in resource gathering and information sharing along with her Cannabis consumption to create WOCC (Women of Color in Cannabis) the federally recognized 501(c)(3) Cannabis nonprofit organization which provides Cannabis educational and industry resources to community members.
